Description
Music Wars Empire is a music industry simulator that allows players to create and run their own record label, giving them the opportunity to manage the financial state of their company as well as aspects of the artists signed to their label. Players take the role of manager or CEO and try to make their mark on the music industry.
History
Music Wars Empire is a part of Antuan Johnson’s Code for Justice project, which donates 10% of proceeds to organizations that teach children of color how to code. Music Wars Empire is the follow up to Music Wars Rebirth 2 (2013), and Music Wars Rebirth 1 (2008).
Antuan Johnson, a third-year law student at Harvard Law School, has been working on the game for several months in-between work as a summer associate and coursework at Harvard and plans to have it ready for release sometime in Q1 2016 for PC and Mac as the first release for his Code for Justice initiative.
